Even i'm facing the same issue since past 3-4 weeks. Even from the app also from the camera directly. Firmware is updated to the latest version in my Hero 5 Session. Yet, initially it starts recording for 3 secs and then the screen goes off and the red light keeps on blinking. Camera turns super hot after a while.
